This 1992 Mitsubishi Mighty Max mini-pickup truck currently holds the East Coast Timing Association class record for Landspeed Racing at 157.310 in April of 2012, over a 1 Mile Course. The Speed is measured in a 132 foot trap at the end of the mile.

The Certificate here is from April, the 150 MPH Record was set in October and I haven’t received it from the ECTA yet,

This vehicle has previously competed on the El Mirage Dry Lake in California, the home of Landspeed Racing sanctioned by the Southern California Timing Association. It has also competed at the Bonneville Salt Flats, the world recognized venue for Landspeed Racing sanctioned by Bonneville Nationals Inc.

The Truck holds the record for The Bonneville Salt Flats Venue at 154.961 MPH set in October of 2010.

The Truck has more in it as evidenced by the 159.894 MPH down run; I was greedy on the tune for the return run and fell off 10 MPH.
